1-Year Workmanship Warranty

If anything we built or installed fails due to defective workmanship within 12 months of final walkthrough, we fix it at no cost. No deductible, no service fee, no argument. Standard exclusions: normal wear, weather/Act-of-God damage, work modified by others.

Manufacturer Warranty Pass-Through

Whatever the manufacturer warranty is on a product, you get it. Composite decking 25 years. Engineered hardwood 30 years. Schluter waterproofing 5 years. We register the warranties in your name on finish day so the paperwork is done.

Permit Compliance Guarantee

Every project gets the right permits. If our work fails an inspection because we missed a Code requirement, we fix it at no cost — including any additional permit fees. This is the warranty that pays for itself the first time you sell.

What if you go out of business — does the warranty still hold?
The manufacturer warranties on materials (composite decking, hardwood, tile, fixtures) are written to the homeowner and survive any contractor change. The workmanship warranty is from General West Contractors specifically — we've been in business since 2016 with no signs of going anywhere, but the manufacturer pass-throughs are belt-and-suspenders for that risk.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Call (416) 268-1378 or email georgewedderburn.george@gmail.com with photos and a description. We schedule a site visit within 5 business days, assess, and fix. No paperwork, no service-fee hostage.
What's NOT covered?
Normal wear and tear, damage from weather or natural disaster, damage from misuse (e.g., dragging furniture across hardwood without pads), and any work modified by another contractor after we finished. We document the final state at walkthrough so there's never an argument later.
